“Be it on the fifth day of racing or even the first, the moment will arrive when things begin to unravel. Mechanicals, saddle sores, dehydration, sleep deprivation. To succeed in this race, your bike, your body and your mind all have to stay together long enough to cross the finish line.” Nelson Trees, Race Director.

The Atlas Mountain Race is 1200km of the most rugged and remote roads in Morocco. There is no support for the riders, nor any prize for the winners, both of whom ride almost non-stop, day and night for days on end.

Capturing the human drama set against an otherworldly landscape, Into the Rift is an in-depth look at a true cycling adventure.
