The world’s premier mountain education festival, the Arc’Teryx Alpine Academy, returns to Chamonix-Mont-Blanc from June 29 – July 2, 2023 and promises to amplify and elevate participants’ mountain experience. Over the course of four epic days, hundreds of alpine enthusiasts from all over the world will come together to get up close, connect with and learn from world-class athletes, top certified guides through clinics covering every aspect of alpinism and for every level of experience.

This year’s clinic program has an expanded offering with more than 80 different clinics for all skill levels, fitness levels and budgets. Clinics cover climbing, trail running, mountaineering, trekking, mountain photography and environmental clinics, as well as a daily program of free activities on offer at the Alpine Village for everyone to get involved in.

Highlights of the program will include experiences such as Climb and Portaledge Night, Reach Your Best Rock Climbing Level, Vallée Blanche Glacier Tour, Trail Running Best of Tour du Mont-Blanc, and Photography in the Vertical Environment. The wide selection of clinics will be supported by IFMGA mountain guides and world-class athletes such as Will Gadd, Jonathan Siegriest, Johanna Åstrom, Ines Papert, Martin Kern, Max Kroneck, Nina Caprez, Hamish McArthur, Jordan Cannon, Luka Lindič, and many more.

The Alpine Village returns to Place du Triangle de l’Amitié, and visitors will have the chance to test the latest Arc’teryx gear, get hands-on in upcycling workshops, watch film premieres, and to take on the bouldering wall alongside the pros. After a day in the mountains, music-lovers can dance into the small hours with live music and DJ sets in one of the most picturesque places on the planet.

For a taste of what’s on offer, watch the video below:

‘The Arc’teryx Alpine Academy is ever evolving and moving forward, and we’re stoked to deliver a refreshed offer of intimate on-mountain clinics,’ says Stéphane Tenailleau, Director of EMEA Marketing at Arc’teryx.

Participants can truly immerse themselves and take skills to new heights in the iconic Mont-Blanc-Massif and Chamonix valley. As always, our clinics will be led by the best mountain guides and top-class athletes and this year, we’ll have even more athletes in attendance. Of course, the evolution doesn’t stop at our clinic offering. We’re developing this into a full-blown mountain culture festival with concerts, world premieres and free activities for everyone. We can’t wait to share more on this in the coming weeks and months.’
