BASE editorial team BASE writers and editors who live and breathe adventure every day. We love adventure storytelling as much as we love adventure itself.

We sat down with World Record Setting adventurer, extreme, remote & hostile locations expert and former Royal Marines Commando Sniper, Aldo Kane.

Aldo has completed 13 world first expeditions from the high seas of the Atlantic to the jungles of South America having operated for over 20 years in the world’s toughest, most extreme environments. Here we chat about discovering his passion for adventure, his work as a safety and risk advisory behind the scenes for TV and film and some of the most dangerous projects he’s been a part of.

We’re super excited to be launching the BASE Collective in the New Year. But for now, here’s a taste of what to expect.
