BASE Crowdfund Is Now Live!
Very exciting news from BASE HQ: the official BASE Crowdfund Campaign is now live to the million-strong community on CrowdCube and the general public! With a minimum investment amount of £25, it’s open to both seasoned investors and anyone that wants a small slice of BASE to call their own.
You’ll need a CrowdCube account to join in but from there, it is really easy to complete your investment.
So far we have brokered over 100 partnerships, distributed over 100,000 magazines and built an audience of 15,000 subscribers, all with a tiny commercial team. Building this function will fuel direct revenue-driving activity and rapidly increase our growth. Alongside this we will continue to build our global influencer network and our incredible subscriber base, that are at the heart of everything we do.
But there’s so much more we can achieve – and adventure’s moment really is now.

Compared to FY21 we’ve achieved 9x revenue growth and 500% web traffic growth YoY.
As we mentioned above we’ve also built a hungry audience of 15,000 subscribers, distributed over 100,000 magazines in key adventure hubs, brokered 100+ partnerships with brands including Patagonia, The North Face & Land Rover and established a brilliant global influencer network – the BASE Collective.

What is investing?
Investing in a business is when you purchase shares of the company, which means you have a stake in the ownership and future performance of the business. You have then become a shareholder. The percentage of the company that you own depends on how much money you invested.
A company, like BASE, will raise investment in order to secure funds for various purposes, such as expanding the team, developing new products or entering new markets. With the investment, the company can fuel growth and capitalise on opportunities that may otherwise be challenging to pursue with limited resources.
There are some great tax incentives for UK taxpayers when investing in small businesses like BASE. The investment in BASE through Crowdcube is eligible for EIS tax relief, which is explained in detail by this short video.
